Shahrukh Khan Rohit Shetty ‘Chennai Express’ Song ‘Lungi Dance’ Dispute with Honey Singh’s Vishal-Shekhar is False [VIDEO]
There were recent reports about a dispute between composer duo, Vishal-Shekhar, and “Chennai Express” director Rohit Shetty and actor Shahrukh Khan. However, these accusations were claimed to be false.
“Vishal-Shekhar never had any problem with me or Shah Rukh. He was not there at the music launch because he had some prior commitments,” said Shetty according to Zee News.
The composers made a song for the movie, which also has a promotional song by Honey Singh.
There were rumors that Vishal and Shekhar weren’t happy with Honey Singh lending his voice for a song. As a result, the composers decided to not be involved in activities involved in the promotion for the new film.
During a recent episode of “Indian Idol Junior,” the dispute was evident because judges Vishal and Shekhar were not present when SRK, Shetty and Deepika Padukone came to promote “Chennai Express.”
Vishal constantly tweeted against Honey Singh such as, “It’s hilarious and pathetic, how desperately this tacky rap-rapper is trying to ride on the fame of @iamsrk and ‘Chennai Express.’ Poor guy.”
“I really don’t know what’s his problem with Honey Singh and what he keeps tweeting about. We all had so much fun working together in ‘Chennai Express,’” said Shetty.
Having famous faces in a film isn’t the only thing that will determine whether or not a film will be successful, but also a combination of how much publicity it’s given. SRK, Padukone and Shetty have been promoting the film in every possible way through print, social media, television, live events and interacting with fans.
Honey Singh sang the song, “Lungi Dance” for the new film. Other songs in the movie include “1 2 3 4 Get on the Dance Floor,” “Titli,” “Tera Rasta Chhodoon Na,” the theme song “Chennai Express,” and many others. “Chennai Express” is set to release on August 9.© 2014 Fashion & Style.com All rights reserved.
