We may see more of their love connection in season 4.

Speaking of season 4, new spoilers emerged for the new deadly threat of the walkers and the prison makeover.

"We're making everything look different and new and unique for this season. I think there's going to be some really cool new elements thrown in that will shock you," comic co-creator and series executive producer Robert Kirkman said. "The prison has evolved quite a bit since season three to season 4."

"They've been trying to make it more like a home versus a prison because no one really wants to live in a prison," said Carl Grimes actor Chandler Riggs.

The threat of the undead is getting bigger and scarier, which fans will get to see the shocking twists that lie ahead.

"It's not even the walkers and it's not even other people this time. It's a whole new threat," actress Lauren Cohan said. Kirkman chimed in that the new threat "could be more deadly than the other two combined."

Andrew Lincoln, who plays the popular character Rick Grimes, said, "The scripts this season are beyond great. They're deeper, darker. I don't know how these guys do it in the writers room, but it keeps getting bigger and bigger."

This goes in line with that executive producer Gale Ann Hurd teased: "There are more zombies than ever before."

We've been teased for months that we will see a "startling change" in the relationship between Rick and his son Carl.

According to Screenrant, fans will see Carl "be more of a kid."
