Oops, she is doing it again!

Britney Spears will officially be performing live at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place Aug. 28 at the legendary Madison Square Garden at 9 p. m. ET/PT.

The 34-year-old blonde pop-star, who has 28 VMA nominations and five wins from the past, announced the exciting news via a video created by L.A.-based experimental director Radical Friend.

The highly-anticipated performance will mark her triumphant return to the VMA stage for the first time in a decade. She'll be joined by her "Make Me" partner in crime, rapper G-Eazy, for the world premiere live performance of the single from her ninth studio album "Glory."

Britney joins a lineup that also includes artists such as Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj; Nick Jonas, Ty Dolla $ign, Drake, Future, The Chainsmokers, Halsey and 2016 Video Vanguard recipient Rihanna.

Of course, we all know Brit Brit knows how to turn out an epic show for a star-studded audience. MTV helped launch her to superstardom in the late 1990s and gave her a stage on which to strut with a snake draped over her shoulders in 2001. Then there was the infamous Madonna makeout in 2003 and a questionable "Gimme More" performance in 2007. With a few seasons of her famous Vegas shows under her belt, Britney is ready to give the ultimate VMA comeback.

To celebrate what's to come this weekend, we are looking back and counting down Britney's best VMA performances ever. Scroll down below and tell us which Brit stage takeover was your favorite.

#5."Gimme More" (2007)

Definitely a not her strongest appearance at the award show, but it got "it's Britney bitch" in our heads forever.

#4. "Baby One More Time"/ "Tearin' Up My Heart" with *NSYNC (1999)

Brit made her VMA debut alongside then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake's boy band. Total late '90s realness!

#3. "Like a Virgin"/ "Hollywood" with Madonna, Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera (2003)

The naughty mash-up had everyone's tongues wagging, especially Madonna's.

#2. "I'm a Slave 4 U" (2001)

Sexy, sizzling and snake-filled. Brit slayed this year.

#1. "Satisfaction" / "Oops!...I Did It Again" (2000)

Two words. "Holy abs." The VMAs were never the same again.
