Each pregnancy is special, and "The Girl On the Train" star Emily Blunt couldn't help but agree. The first time she was pregnant, Blunt recalled how busy she and her husband John Krasinski were making tons of preparations. Now, the atmosphere is more relaxed because they already know what to do.

"I think we are more laid-back this time," the actress told TODAY. "We know what to expect. It is the great unknown with the first child."

However, there is someone (or rather something) that Blunt sorely misses from her first pregnancy -- her good friend Gary.

"Gary was the pregnancy pillow that somebody gave me, which was like having another enormous man in the bed," she recalled. "Eventually, John was like, 'Gary's gotta go!'"

Blunt was asked when her due date is, but the actress preferred to keep it a secret. "I'm not going to tell you!" she laughingly said. "Guys, show up to the hospital on this day!"

Even though Blunt is sporting a pregnancy glow, the make-up team from her upcoming movie "The Girl On the Train" did such a great job that she actually looked horrifying on the set.

During an interview with the Evening Standard, Blunt said that she looks so frightening imbibing her on-screen persona Rachel Watson that even her own daughter Hazel was terrified of her.

"I'm now playing the worst looking alcoholic in the world so it's fun," she said. "Trust me - I can show you a picture. I think I frighten my own child! It's that bad!"

Blunt stars in the film adaptation of Paula Hawkins' novel together with Luke Evans, Justin Theroux and Rebecca Ferguson. Hawkins is actually very pleased with Blunt's transformation because it means she will deliver a compelling performance as Rachel.

"They actually made Emily Blunt look like a woman who lets herself get into a complete mess," noted the author.

"The Girl On the Train," which is directed by Tate Taylor, will be released on Oct. 7.
