The Bon Jovi/Sambora split is turning into quite a ruckus! We reported recently that Bon Jovi and Sambora have been trading barbs in the media, with Bon Jovi suggesting that Sambora might be having alcohol issues.

At one point, Bon Jovi actually said, "Life goes on, so if someone chooses not to be here...unlike if this were, God forbid, The Edge, and he for some reason couldn't make a U2 show [then] it would be very difficult to just step in," as per Entertainmentwise.com.

Sambora was not quiet but responded, saying that Bon Jovi should quit the "trash-talk" and "hire The Edge!"

Now, more details about the Bon Jovi/Sambora split have emerged which suggest that Bon Jovi has made more than one nasty comment about Sambora, as per Radaronline.

A source said, "Jon has been keeping Richie out of the band. And, frankly, he's been a real jerk to Richie, saying some awful things."

Apparently, one of these "awful" things was said when Bon Jovi's daughter had issues with heroin.

The source told Radaronline, "Jon told Richie that was something he would have expected from Richie's family. It's just nasty."

Wow! Given that Bon Jovi's daughter, Stephanie, almost overdosed on heroin, that just seems like a terrible thing to say in more ways than one.

However, we'll withhold our judgment for the time being until this quote is confirmed!

Apparently, ticket sales have also been falling for Bon Jovi, given Sambora's absence and this is why the Cleveland Browns pro football team canceled the Bon Jovi concert scheduled for July 14.
