"The Girl On the Train" star Emily Blunt is not a one-trick pony. She does not want to be categorized into any single role and likes to shake things up every once in a while.

After playing catty fashion assistant Emily Chalton in "The Devil Wears Prada," people were so impressed by her performance that she was offered "every single acerbic British bitch role on the planet."

But playing the same role repeatedly is not something Blunt envisions herself doing.

"Doing the same thing over and over again is not the joy of the job for me - so after 'Prada' I turned them all down and went off and played an American pothead in 'Sunshine Cleaning' instead," she told The Telegraph.

However, there are certain roles that Blunt is certain she will not pursue.

"Too racy would be one thing I wouldn't go for now. I'm not so keen on doing nudity, because I'm not 22 any more," she admitted. "And actually it's not so much a moral thing as, 'I've done it before and do I really want to do it again?' Does it serve the film or is it gratuitous and seeing someone's tits for the sake of it? Because I don't think it's necessary most of the time. Also playing violent or racist characters would be hard for me now."

Blunt is currently working on the movie adaptation of Paula Hawkins' novel "The Girl On the Train," wherein she will play an alcoholic named Rachel Watson.

After that, Blunt will lend her voice to a yet unnamed character in the "My Little Pony" movie, according to Deadline. She will be joining other stars such as Kristin Chenoweth, Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball.

The movie will be directed by Jayson Theissen, while Hasbro executives Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis will serve as its producers.

"The Girl On the Train" will be released on Oct. 7, while "My Little Pony" has been scheduled for release on Nov. 3, 2017.
