The 88th Annual Academy Awards have finally arrived, and we couldn't be more excited to watch some of Hollywood's biggest stars celebrate an amazing year of film.

The 2016 Oscars, hosted by comedian Chris Rock, may just be the most entertaining and interesting award show yet as some of the movie industry's biggest names compete for a over 20 categories of awards.

The award show will kick off with red carpet coverage on ABC starting at 7 p.m. EST, followed by the actual Oscars ceremony at 8:30 p.m. EST.
