The 88th Annual Academy Awards are finally upon us and we can't wait to see which of our favorite stars will take home the 2016 Oscars for their hard work in the film industry.

We have all the information you need to gear up for the award show, including where to watch the red carpet and the show live stream as well as who's performing and hosting.

Date: Sunday, Feb. 28

Network: ABC

Oscars pre-show: Red carpet coverage starts at 7 p.m. on ABC

E!'s red carpet: 1:30 p.m. EST

E! Online Live stream: 5:25 p.m. EST

Award show time: 8:30 p.m. EST

Where: Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood

Where to watch red carpet and show live stream online: Unfortunately, live streaming for the Oscars is only available for paying TV customers living in specific cities. If you live in Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco you can live stream the Oscars on ABC.com or the WATCH ABC app.

Things to know:

The 88th Annual Academy Awards will be hosted by Chris Rock.

This year, the Oscars will host their very first Oscars Backstage show, giving fans the chance to watch all the action that goes on behind-the-scenes at the academy awards. The Backstage show will be hosted by Orlando Jones, Diane Mizota, Matt Shively, Ben Lyons and Chris Connelly. Fans can watch the show online HERE.

"Good Morning America" anchors Robin Roberts and Michael Strayhan, along with Laura Spencer and Amy Robach will host the red carpet pre-show.

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strayhan will host the "After Oscar 2016 Live" show set to air on Monday, Feb. 29 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.

There are a slew of Hollywood A-listers expected to present awards at the 2016 Oscars including, Cate Blanchett, Emily Blunt, Steve Carell, Henry Vaill, Priyanka Chopra, Sacha Baron Cohen, Russell Crow, Tina Fey, Morgan Freeman, Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Garner, Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Kevin Hart, Jared Leto, Margo Robbie, Sarah Silverman, Charlize Theron, Julianne Moore, Eddie Redmayne, Sofia Vergara and more.

The Weekend, Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, Dave Grohl and a few surprise artists are expected to perform at the awards show.
