The hit CBS show "Big Bang Theory" season 6 is over, but some hints from the finale falls over to what can happen with Sheldon and Amy, Raj, and Leonard and Penny in season 7.
Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler
Sheldon [Jim Parsons] and Amy [Mayim Bialik] have come a long way together.
TV Fanatic gave them the title of "Best Relationship Growth," topping Penny and Leonard's relationship stabilization.
"From putting Vaporub on Amy when she was sick, to Sheldon's honest response to Penny's sex question, and then Sheldon and Amy's D&D virtual intimacy, Sheldon has grown immensely. Will they ever get physical? Perhaps, but these baby steps in that direction work with the character and provide humor," TV Fanatic explained.
That's definitely something fans are looking forward to in season 7.
We know that Lucy broke it off with Raj [Kunal Nayyar] in the season 6 finale "The Bon Voyage Reaction" because he tried to get her to meet all his friends, but it ended up overwhelming her.
WhatCulture put "Raj Getting Involved In A Serious Relationship" on their list of "The Big Bang Theory: 5 Things We Want to See In Series 7" article.
"We'd love for them to reconcile in series 7, or at the very least for Raj to meet someone new," WhatCulture said. "He's the only member of the gang who isn't in any sort of relationship and it's time that changed."
It's also a good thing that Raj can now speak to women without being drunk. TV Fanatic dubbed this as "Best Character Development."
TV.com also said that they aren't "entirely convinced we've seen the last of her [Lucy] though."
Penny and Leonard
Leonard [Johnny Galecki] and Penny's [Kaley Cuoco] relationship is now more stable than ever.
The couple showed this when Leonard told Penny about his new job. Sheldon was jealous but Penny enthusiastically supported it, according to TV.com.
Penny landing a big actressing job was featured on What Culture's "5 Things" list, and they pointed out that it could put a further strain on her relationship with Leonard.
TV Fanatic said that the "Biggest Improvement was Penny and Leonard's relationship getting comfortable, especially after her being back-and-forth with Leonard and question the relationship in "The Decoupling Fluctuation" episode.
TV.com dished on what they wanted to see in their season 7 wish list:
It's fairly simple: Aside from a few duds, Season 6 was generally one of the strongest seasons of The Big Bang Theory's run so far, so if anything, I'd just like to see more of what we saw this season: the occasional emotional episode, a Leonard/Penny relationship that isn't a trainwreck, a Sheldon/Amy relationship that continues to work in its own unique way. And Stu, because he seemed to just disappear halfway through this season and I miss him. Comic Store Stu-WHERE R U?
