We reported on April 26 that Omar Borkan Al Gala, a self-styled poet and model was deported from Saudi Arabia for being too handsome.
Apparently, the Saudi officials were worried that Saudi women would be too tempted by the good looks of this 25 year-old and his two friends.
So all three were deported, but Omar Borkan Al Gala is the one who has achieved the most notoriety as a result.
Latinos Post reported that Al Gala admitted that the publicity has helped him. "As a model," he said, "it put me on the next level."
Al Gala has also landed a role in a feature film also starring Navid Negahban who plays Abu Nazir in "Homeland," as per International Business Times.
On his birthday, Al Gala received a magnificent gift-a Mercedes-Benz from a woman he didn't even know.
Apparently, women don't agree that Al Gala is too sexy! After all, there is no such thing!
In his Facebook photos, Al Gala can be seen posing in a number of different outfits, some more Western-looking and others more Arabian.
We love the look in which he combines an Arabic turban with a zip-up hoodie and baggy pants. We never realized that turbans could be sexy but the untidy way that Al Gala ties them is artlessly attractive.
Al Gala also looks great in the rock star type look which combines jeans and a black leather jacket.
In the third photo, he's seen going Arabic all the way, with another messy turban, a tunic, and a falcon on his arm.
Here's to hoping he'll be showing up in fashion shows or commercials soon.
