'NCIS' Spoilers: Ziva Tony Romance Heats Up in Season 11? Season 10 Finale Hints Gibbs/Fornell Rift, McGee's Delilah Unveiled

Spoilers emerged for "NCIS" season 11 after examining the dramatic things that happened in the season 10 finale.

"NCIS" executive producer Gary Glasberg dished that now the team (McGee, Tony, and Ziva) is divided and resigned after the car crash, the killing of Ziva's dad, and the revenge factor of killing Bodnar, we are going to see what happens four months later in the season 11 premiere.

In the season 10 finale, titled "Damned if You Do," we were left with seeing Agent Gibbs [Mark Harmon] as a sniper aiming at Tobias Fornell [Joe Spano].

"We heard a gunshot as it faded to black, but there was someone in that car he stood next to, so it's going to be a long summer of waiting to find out what happened and what happens next," the Examiner explained.

"Ultimately, jumping ahead four months, we don't see who's in that town car but we know it's someone Fornell is protecting, and we're left with Fornell in Gibbs' sights," Glasberg told Entertainment Weekly. "All the pieces will fit together, I promise."

He added about the premiere, "In the season opener, we will see the progression of time leading up to that moment that everyone just experienced, and in that progression, we'll see the case that Gibbs is assigned to, the specifics of the case, how it is unfolded, who the players are, and then when we get to the exact moment. It will all make sense."

Fans may even get to meet McGee's [Sean Murray] girlfriend, Delilah.

"The lovely Delilah. That will likely pay off at some point as well. We may even meet Delilah," Glasberg said.

Ziva [Cote de Pablo] and Tony's [Michael Weatherly] relationship may heat up as well in season 11, even though they call themselves being in "the friend zone."

"There's a little more to it than that,"Glasberg said. "I think they're sort of dancing around each other and trying to get a sense of how to move forward and, based on everything that's happened in the last year, where they are and what the next step is going to be. And, you know, we're letting it slowly percolate and build and hopefully get it to a place that's going to be satisfying for everybody."
