A comedian loses 106 pounds through surgery.
"Celebrity Apprentice" contestant Lisa Lampanelli said she lost 106 pounds after undergoing gastric-sleeve surgery a year ago on April 9.
"I've lost a total of 106 pounds," the 51-year-old comedian told In Touch magazine. "I feel like I've reached the weight I'm supposed to be. I'm officially a skinny b****!"
She admitted, "I have to figure out my addiction issue and how I even got overweight in the first place."
Lampanelli is now 142 pounds. She said that although she never had a goal weight in mind, she credits her newly slim frame to the exercise and portin control she's maintained, but she's still "a work in progress."
She also revealed the best part of her weight loss.
"One of the best parts of losing weight has been the clothing!" Lampanelli said, adding, "I roll up to Macy's and go to the sales rack and see how much I can get for as little amount of money! It's almost like a game for me!"
Back in October 2012, Lampanelli said that she has been struggling with her weight for years.
"I tried every single thing imaginable - diet, exercise. I even bought a house on the health spa property and I still gained weight," she said on "The Dr. Oz Show" back then, according to NewsMax. "For 32 years, from 18 to 50, I tried everything on the planet, and once I had a clean slate with that I said, 'You know what? Nothing's working for me. I'm going to treat this like the addiction that it is. I'm going to get this surgery and use it as a tool. That's all it is, a tool to help me get over it."
Well it looks like she's finally got something that worked!
