There are only two episodes left in Season 4 of “The Vampire Diaries,” and we have spoilers!

After last week’s episode, “She’s Come Undone,” this week’s episode will be called “The Walking Dead.”

Executive Producer Julie Plec spilled some secrets about the final two episodes to Spoilers Guide.

“Part of Silas’ plan to drop the veil — and Bonnie’s effort to either help him or stop him — they kind of blow up in everybody’s face in ‘The Walking Dead,’ and we get our first glimpses of what would happen if this veil fell completely,” she said.

“We start to have some ghosts coming through from the other side. It’s a nice collection of faces that will make us happy, and then some faces that we thought we probably shouldn’t see again because they’re up to no good.”

“It’s the same way we’ve done in the past when they break their way through from the other side, they have corporeal form,” Plec said about the ghosts. “It’s just that if you kill them and the veil’s down, they can just walk right back through. So they’re kind of indestructible.”

Plec also spoke about the finale episode, “Graduation.”

“It’s difficult to throw an event in Mystic Falls without it going catastrophically awry, but one of the things that was really important to us is that we do give this event itself its due,” Plec said.

“We approached this episode, in its own way, like a series finale because our character’s graduating from high school is a shift in the show to open up a lot of new storytelling opportunities and new environments,” she said.

“So we really wanted to be able to get all the emotion out of this episode that we could before we move on to a different life. We made sure that in spite of everything that’s going on in the midst of it, we still get those great friendship moments and nostalgia moments that I, as a fan of TV over the decades, loved so much on high school shows as you reached that milestone.”

Plec also confirmed that one vampire will take “the cure,” but it may not be who we expect.

“I will tell you that we started the season having firmly decide exactly who was gonna get the cure, and about halfway through the season, we changed our minds,” she said.

And that’s not all we know – writer and producer Caroline Dries previously said that at least one character will die before the season is over.

“There is always a body count,” she said.

Candice Accol, who plays Caroline, teased E! Online about the death.

“We will be closing a chapter, we might be saying goodbye to someone, but we’re going to say hello to a new beginning,” she said.

Accola also spoke with Hollywood Life about what’s coming for Klaus and Caroline in the finale.

“We will see Klaus return to Mystic Falls before the end of the season, and Caroline will find out that he’s moved to New Orleans,” she said. “But she won’t understand the reason why.”

“As far as the end of season four, Caroline is going to learn this valuable lesson: Sometimes when you get what you want, it’s not actually what you want,” she added.

Klaus may not be the only character who leaves – Plec told TV Guide that while some characters will enroll at the nearby Whitmore colleges, others “may choose to run off to Europe, New Orleans or parts unknown.”
