A new Apple iTunes app will keep you up-to-date on all Michelle Obama’s fashion choices.
“Michelle’s Style List,” created by Style Lister, will update users with the latest photos and links to the First Lady’s style choices, according to whitehousedossier.com. Style Lister created a similar app for Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton’s style.
“Where possible we will give you all the info that’s available!” promises the app’s website, michellesstylelist.com.
The app was created by 28-year-old Brit Helen Barclay, according to the Hollywood Reporter. On the website, Barclay writes that she has had the idea for Michelle’s Style List for quite a while, but had to wait for Obama to win his second term in office!
“I had noticed how Mrs Obama had a similar impact in the USA as The Duchess of Cambridge has,” she writes. “I always knew that I wanted an App for The First Lady - there was only one thing holding me back... for President Obama to win a second term in office! So on the 6th November 2012 plans for Michelle’s Style List got under-way!”
Photos on the website include high-fashion looks from the Governor’s Dinner and Oscars as well as more dressed-down cardigans from appearances meeting military familes and going shopping at Wal-Mart.
The app’s description reads:
“Here you’ll find the LISTS of The First Lady’s outfits, when she appears at various events, where possible – you’ll get the info!
“Get the latest Press Association pictures and links to Mrs Obama’s clothes and accessories. You can also search by the latest appearance or by Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and bookmark individual articles to create your own favorites file!
“Get Michelle’s Style List NOW and GET THE LOOK!”
“Michelle’s Style List” costs 99 cents and was released today. The app button has a white logo on a purple background and reads “MS” for “Michelle’s Style.” It has a 4+ rating, meaning it contains no objectionable materials.© 2013 Fashion & Style.com All rights reserved.
