Star Wars Episode 7 Plot, Rumors Revealed: 'Star Trek' Zoe Saldana to Join New Cast? J.J. Abrams Talks Jar-Jar Binks Death

"Star Wars Episode 7" plot and cast spoilers are being leaked all over as new information comes up for the new J.J. Abrams movie.

According to InEntertainment, "Star Trek" stars Jonathan Frakes and Zoe Saldana may make an appearance in "Star Wars 7."

Frakes, who is known for his role in "Star Trek" as bearded Commander William T. Riker, expressed interest in starring in "Star Wars" ten years after appearing in "The Next Generation."

When asked if he would jump ship to be involved in the new "Star Wars Episode 7" movie, Frakes replied, "In a heartbeat."

The report also said that Saldana is also interested in a role, as well as Simon Pegg.

This is not the only collaboration with "Star Wars" and "Star Trek."

In an interview with Playboy, J.J. Abrams revealed he is working on the movie with George Lucas for the new "Star Wars Episode 7" movie.

"We still have George Lucas with us to go to and ask questions and get his feedback on things, which I certainly will do," Abrams said.

He  also dished about cutting off Jar Jar Binks. There was some speculation going on that the franchise would kill him off.

"You won't like this answer, but it's so early it would be insane to discuss details or get into plot points about what this unfilmed movie will be," Abrams revealed. "And I'm not going to give my opinion on the original movies or characters."

But the movie will definitely be different from "Star Trek."

"As with anything, because these are very different worlds, they shouldn't feel the same aesthetically. They can't. You're right. But again, I don't apply aesthetics first and fit a movie into that aesthetic. If I had come into Star Trek with those eyes, I would probably have been paralyzed."

No matter the rumors, fans really want to know if Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher will officially reprise their roles as Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo like George Lucas said. Ford has been keeping really quiet about everything, so no one knows for sure.

Disney and Lucasfilm will release "Star Wars Episode 7" in summer of 2015.
