Jenna Bush Hager, 31, a "Today" show contributor and former teacher and children’s author, had a baby shower with her NBC coworkers on April 2 at the Peter Callahan Catering studio in New York. Guests gave Bush their favorite children’s books inscribed with parenting advice.

Hager’s former co-anchor, Meredith Viera, gifted a copy of "We’re Going On A Bear Hunt" with the advice, “Get a nap anytime you can.” Host Hoda Kotb told Bush to do whatever her own mom, Laura Bush, did, and news anchor Natalie Morales gave Jenna a copy of “Goodnight Moon” and performed her song version of the book.

"Today" show producer Jackie Levin spiced it up with a copy of erotica novel “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Jenna Bush Hager told her, “That’s baby number two material!”

According to People magazine, Laura Bush visited the New York apartment Jenna shares with her husband Henry Hager last month to help put the nursery together. George W. Bush contributed artwork: he painted a picture of the family cat, Bernadatte, for over the crib, as well as a landscape featuring a “baby tree” and a still life of nightfall over a stone cross on the Bushes’ Texas ranch, where the Hagers were married in 2008. The painting was called “Goodnight Moon.” The couple have not found out if they’re having a boy or a girl, though most guests predicted a boy during a party game.

The party included tiny grilled cheeses shaped like baby bottles, mini pizzas, and cracker “pacifiers” with caviar, according to the TODAY Show.

“It made me feel really happy to work where we work,” Jenna Bush Hager said. “I already feel 100 percent supported, which is a really amazing feeling, to know you work at a place where you’re supported.”
