Jeff Gordon's prank has left many people stumped over his latest Pepsi ad featuring him, a Chevy Camaro, and a very scared car salesman.

According to Zap2it, in the "Test Drive" video the NASCAR driver "wears a disguise, playing the part of an overly nervous man who is interested in a used Camaro. When the salesman tells him they should take a test drive, Gordon, Pepsi Max in hand, eventually agrees.

"Before long, Gordon is speeding down streets, and doing doughnuts in the car. The salesman is terrified, and pretty angry, letting a few curse words fly, as he yells at Mike (Gordon's alter ego) to stop the vehicle," the report said. "Finally he does, and the salesman threatens to have him arrested. Rather than have the cops called, Gordon reveals the cameras, and his true identity."

The almost 4-minute Pepsi Max ad went viral, having over 7 million views on YouTube.

MaximumPC called the stunt "a clever ad."

ABC News spoke with a Pepsi spokesperson that refused to say whether the salesman is an actor, but added his reactions are "100 percent genuine." Fans are wondering if the salesman's reactions are fake.

People who viewed the video gave it rave reviews. Here's what some of them had to say:

"OMG! That was AWESOME! The car salesman needs to change his name to Skid Mark!"

"It's all funny til the guy reaches for the wheel, spins the car out of control and they slam into a median."

"Wow! Some people have no sense of humor... Get over yourselves."

"That's my mom, EVERYTIME I'm driving."

"This is the funniest."

"Love this laughed my a** off ....."
