Taylor Swift is likely to kick off the Grammy Awards with her Record of the Year nominated song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

According to Ryan Seacrest's website, the country singer revealed to him that she would be the opening performance for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. "What's interesting is we presented this performance to the Grammy committee...and they said, 'Okay, cool you have a performance spot,'" Swift told Seacreast. The 23-year old continued, "And then like a week ago they call us and are like, 'Oh, by the way, you're opening the show.' It's not like they approach you...It just surprised me I was going to go first."

Swift, who is nominated for three Grammy Awards this year, has had great success there in the past. The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer has previously been nominated for 12 Grammy's and has walked away with six. 2010, which was the singer's breakout year, saw Swift receive numerous accolades, taking home four awards, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album.

T-Swift will look to add to her total, as she is nominated for three Grammy's, including Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Despite the success Swift has achieved for her musical talents, the star is still striking out in the love department. "Directioners" were recently thrilled after One Direction frontman Harry Styles decided to call it quits with 23-year old.

The end of their relationship marked yet another failed try at love for the serial dater. Before Styles, Swift has recently dated Conor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner, with none of the romances lasting more than a few months.

Though there's no reason to feel too sorry for the country music singer, as everyone knows Swift's music comes from her endless string of failed romances. The star's recent single "I Knew You Were Trouble" was a reference to Harry Styles.
