Kim Kardashian was grilled by David Letterman in his "Late Show" on her ongoing divorce settlement with Kris Humphries and her take on Kanye West's controversial moment with Taylor Swift.
Wednesday night, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman" to promote their reality show "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami."
The talk show's host did not think of hestitating even for a moment in asking Kim of her entangled marriage status.
“Now, you’re still married to the former husband, Kris Humphries?” Letterman asked rather blatantly, as if he knew nothing about the most famous divorce drama on earth.
“Now, when are you going to wrap that up?”
"Well, I'm trying, and it's a process…I've been trying for almost two years now, um, to wrap it up, but it's, you know, it's hard," the reality show star replied.
"What does Mr. Humphries—I guess it's none of my business—but what does he want? Does he want his own show?," Letterman further grilled the brunette bombshell.
"I can't speak for Kris, but I just want him to be happy and I want us to move on, and that's really what I want, is just to move on," said Kim.
"I don't really know ‘cause even if we got an annulment—I would love to give him one but then that would make—the only legal way to get an annulment is if fraud were involved, so that's what's tricky. So he is suing me for an annulment based on the fact that I frauded him into marrying him for publicity," the girlfriend of Kanye West said.
"Oh, so he's claiming that he was a victim of fraud."
"Yes, well, that's the only way to get an annulment is if one person was frauded, so that was the case."
"But fraud was not a factor here, is that right?"
"Not in my case, no."
Kourtney was quick and sharp to defend her sister's divorce, which made history as Hollywood's fastest divorce.
"I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew."
To the laughing audience, Letterman represented everyone's mind by uttering, "Ouch."
Letterman did not forget to ask Kim about her beau Kanye West.
"Congratulations, can we say this?" the host said of Kim's pregnancy with the rapper's child.
"It’s really exciting
"Kanye West - what's he like?" Letterman asked.
"He's probably the funniest person I know," Kim said proudly.
“The last time I heard about him, he went up to Taylor Swift. At the MTV award, you remember that? And he ruined the whole show,” Letterman declared.
"Was he just being funny there?"
Letterman was referring to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 when West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech of Best Female Video.
"I'm really happy for you, I will let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time," West spit out his words into the microphone before leaving the stage.
Kim defended her boyfriend saying, "He's like the most passionate person so I think He just truly thought that another video should have won that category, and he just was you know had to speak his mind, that's how he is."
