There is nothing new about a man painting his nails with nail polish. Rock stars and even, most recently, rappers like Wiz Khalifa all sport a fresh coat of polish - usually black nail polish. While most men would limit their color choice to clear, one man attempts to set a trend by actually getting a nail design. Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion) is now rocking some fancy French tips.

Out of all the rappers in the world, Snoop is probably one of the least likely guessed to be wearing such a dainty and classic nail design. The 41-year-old rapper, who has recently converted to Rastafarianism, uploaded an Instagram photo of his fabulous new nails. In the selfie snapshot, Snoop Dogg is seen smoking, holding a blunt with his long fingers (pink up) featuring the classic manicure.

Today, it is not uncommon for men to have weekly appointments with a nail stylist. Maybe the French MANicure is just a major male trend to come.

When it comes to fashion and beauty, the gender lines are beginning to get blurred. Just late last year, the meggings trend ignited, causing fashionable men of New York City and London to walk the streets in tight and colorful printed leggings. Rapper Kanye West is also leading the androgynous trend with his famous kilt (or skirt) ensembles.

Ladies, we have to admit, we have been borrowing from menswear for decades. It was only a matter of time before the guys started taking from us. The only thing hoped for is that these womenswear inspired looks for men will incorporate some masculinity, just as our masculine inspired looks incorporates a feminine flair.
