Photos surfaced of Kate Middleton's baby bump and the world is once again in a tizzy.

Kate Middleton is reportedly craving for sweets like never before, and has been gifted boxes of lavender shortbread during her battle with pregnancy symptoms.

The Duchess of Cambridge revealed her pregnancy in December, prompted by her hospitalization from acute morning sickness.

The 30-year-old royal fashion icon was diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum, which can include nausea and excessive vomiting during pregnancy.

Even though Middleton's condition makes it nearly impossible to eat or drink, sources revealed that the mother-to-be is now craving for high caloric sweets.

“A lot of women develop cravings during pregnancy and Kate is no exception. She has got a real taste for these biscuits,” a source told Showbiz Spy. “Lavender is said to have healing properties, so it is not such a wacky food to nibble on when you’re pregnant.”

Middleton's father-in-law Prince Charles actually owns an organic food brand Duchy Originals, which sells lavender biscuits, which are traditionally used as anti-nausea remedy for pregnant women.

“Kate has been craving scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream,” another source revealed.
“She can’t get enough of it. And she washes it down with a cup of old-fashioned English-breakfast tea.

“Some women eat raw onions when they’re pregnant, but Kate’s joked that she’s keeping it classy. It’s just a shame she can’t keep her food down for long!”
