Celebrity PSA for Gun Control Campaign Receives Major Backlash (SEE VIDEO)

After the horrendous Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which took the lives of small children and educators, celebrities gathered together to film a powerful PSA against gun violence. The video begins with Jamie Foxx, Paul Rudd, Beyonce, and Amy Poehler listing the names of the most tragic shooting massacres in the country. "Columbine, Aurora, Newtown," the celebrities listed.
The stars continued, asking "how many more" classrooms, movie theaters,street corners, and victim names have to be listed before the country develops a plan against gun violence. The celebrities urges Americans to demand a plan to stop these tragedies from happening.
Although the black and white video was intended to make a huge impact, many viewers were turned off by the star-studded ensemble. On the video's YouTube page, it received an astounding number of dislikes and criticism.
Some YouTube users questioned the celebrities sincerity, while others claimed that some of the celebrities in the video are constantly starring in violent films.
