Valeria Lukyanova is literally a living doll. With her long platinum blonde hair, her plastic-like features, and unreal curvy and slim figure, the human Barbie has made her way into the fashion world with a feature in V magazine.
Lukyanova was once just a normal blonde girl with normal sized eyes, thinner lips, and an average shaped body. The Ukrainian is now the Internet phenomenon known as the "human Barbie." She made her rise to fame this year when celebrity website Jezebel discovered the CGI-like beauty's Facebook page. Many people questioned if the woman with the extremely small waist, massive full bust, and cartoonish big blue eyes was actually human. With her photo spread with V magazine, it's confirmed that this life-size Barbie doll is very much real. Lukyanova believes that "altering reality is the key to life."

Reps from the magazine say they were warned by an anonymous Ukrainian contact that Lukyanova can be a threat due to her "astral projection" (the practice of out-of-body travel). Lucky for us interested, V took the chance and brought the living Barbie, who is also a musician, to NYC for the shoot.
Lukyanova says that she is amused by the amount of attention she gets and the amount of real-life dolls emerging after her. "Indeed, I've noticed a trend," Lukyanova says of other life-sized dolls. "Every good-looking woman with fine features and a slim figure looks like a doll. I won't deny that I play along with people's perceptions. I'm amused by the reactions. I don't take it seriously."
In the spread, Lukyanova dons her usual skimpy garb of string bikini tips and short shorts; however, V magazine gave her a high-fashion twist with luxury labels.
So what is the day-to-day life of a Barbie girl in a Barbie world like? If you're Lukyanova you will begin your morning working on your face then getting a massage and of course spending the rest of the day on the Internet. "I meditate and travel in my astral body, and after that I work out at the gym. I go for a walk with my best girlfriend, I get home, and I make dinner for the man I love. Then I spend some more time on the Internet, do some reading and meditating, and go to bed," the Ukrainian singer said of her other daily activities.
Check out some other interesting facts about her below.
The "human Barbie" denies having plastic surgery:
"Many people say bad things about people who want to perfect themselves. It's hard work, but they dismiss it as something done by surgeons or computer artists. This is how they justify not wanting to strive for self-improvement. It's how they explain their continued inaction. It's just an excuse. There are plenty of video clips on the Internet showing what I really look like. Some people even spread rumors about me and retouch my pictures to hurt me. But I don't take them seriously. I'm even flattered! It's what success is like. I'm happy I seem unreal to them, it means I'm doing a good job."
Lukyanova believes her Barbie-like appearance is a positive for mankind:
"I have a responsibility to bring more good, light, and positive emotions to people. I want to share my art and my music and tell people about my spiritual ideas. When you feel happy, you want to tell everyone about it so that others become happier too."
Lukyanova also talked about her career. She isn't just a singer, model, and artist; she is also a teacher:
"I'm a teacher at the School of Out-of-Body Travel. It's an international school in which our instructors show students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe. I know that this is the future of mankind and that it has huge potential. Hidden reserves will be tapped soon."
Her supernatural "travels" have also inspired her music:
"This is also how I collaborate with other composers of new age music. They inspire me. My genre is new age opera. Sometimes I can write a piece in one breath, in as little as five minutes."
She says her fashion sense is spiritual based:
"Everything derives from my spiritual practices. My mood is created by meditation and energy techniques. It makes me want to see everything as beautiful and bright, refined and original."
