Rihanna made her fourth appearance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this past Saturday night. However, the busy pop star didn't show off her funny bone in any of the skits - and without Andy Samberg on the "SNL" cast there will sadly never be another "Shy Ronnie" sing-a-long.
While she didn't give us funny, Rihanna gave much emotion. The singer performed one of her new songs from her upcoming album "Unapologetic" - "Stay." Rihanna beautifully sang the heartfelt ballad which featured some interesting lyrics. The sultry songstress poured out her soul while singing a tune about a forbidden love.

"I threw my hands in the air I said show me something/ He said, if you dare come a little closer," Rihanna began the song. Fans instantly speculated that she was singing about her notorious (confirmed) ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.
"Round and around and around and around we go/ Ohhh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know," the singer pleaded her confused lover. Last month, Brown admitted to being confused for loving both Rihanna and his forlorn ex Karrueche Tran.
"Not really sure how to feel about it/Something in the way you move," the catchy chorus went. "Makes me feel like I can't live without you/It takes me all the way/I want you to stay"
"Funny all the broken ones but I'm the only one who needed saving/Cause when you never see the lights it's hard to know which one of us is caving," the lyrics sound similar to Rihanna's recount of that infamous night when Brown assaulted her. In a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna revealed that after Brown brutally abused her she was more worried about his being and his image than her injuries.
Rihanna ended her 2-set performance with "Stay." Earlier in the show, which was hosted by award-winning actress Anne Hathaway, Rihanna performed her new hit single "Diamonds."
