Robert Pattinson
joins his (on-again?) girlfriend Kristen Stewart in the luxury fragrance business. The British heartthrob has been tapped to front Christian Dior's new fragrance ads, E! reports.

Unlike other A-list actor, Brad Pitt, who awkwardly starred in Chanel's women's fragrance ad, Pattinson will be the face of a men's fragrance. Let's just hope R.Patz doesn't have to stare into a camera spewing dramatic monologues.

"Rob likes the brand," reports a source.  And apparently Dior loves Pattinson right back. The "Twilight" star signed a mega-deal with the French fashion house. The source estimates the 3-year deal to be worth a whopping $12 million.

Dior will be Pattinson's first-ever big-time endorsement. The deal comes at a great time as his famous role as Edward Cullen comes to an end with the final "Twilight" installment.

Pattinson is in good company; other celebrities who have also endorsed Dior include Jude Law, Natalie Portman, and Charlize Theron.

The "Twilight" hottie better get his Dior Homme suits ready, as he is set to hit the red carpet soon for the premiere of "Breaking Dawn 2" (which hits theaters November 16). Pattinson is also expected to make his appearance alongside co-star and alleged back-on-girlfriend Stewart - marking the couple's first official appearance since the cheating scandal.

Stewart is currently the face of Balenciaga's fragrance "Florabotanica." Hopefully she can give her man some useful advice should he ever have to do a live stream interview answering odd questions about perfume.

Sidenote: Pattison and Stewart may be Hollywood's best-smelling couple!

**UPDATE: Just a second, turns out Pattinson's Dior deal is just a rumor for now. Dior's Paris press office told The Hollywood Reporter that no contract has been signed...yet. So there's hope!
