Hurricane Sandy Update; MTA Mass Transit To Run in 3-4 Days, Bloomberg said during a live broadcast on Tuesday morning. He has declared that NYC public schools will remain closed on Wednesday. Bloomberg estimates that MTA mass transit will most likely be running in 3-4 days due to deeply damaging flooding in the tracks.

Some bridges and tunnels have been re-opened for federal emergency personnel, but most remain closed to the public. Millions of New Yorkers without power can expect power within the next 2-3 Bloomberg reported in the broadcast.

Hurricane Sandy, which has affected New York city and the east coast badly has left behind a lot of destruction on its path.
