Monday night was the third and final presidential debate, which means we now have to take all that we've learned and decide who the best dressed presidential wife is. Michelle Obama and Ann Romney used some of their most clever fashion tactics this time around.
First Lady Obama wore a custom grey Thom Browne frock with a black lace overlay. Fabulous choice for the final night; but a smart choice it was too. Mrs. Obama wore this same dress back in September during the DNC. The Obamas have done a great job so far connecting to the average American and appearing to be down-to-earth. First Lady Obama shows that she is "just like us" with this obvious outfit repeat. She may have won all the votes from the busy moms and working women alike with her "I just threw this on" outfit choice. Mrs. Obama also kept her accessorizing to a minimum, wearing only a silver bow brooch. While her husband President Barack Obama came at his opponent, Gov. Mitt Romney, with hard hitting facts and a hilarious "horses and bayonets" one-liner, FLOTUS also brought her fashion A-game by not trying at all - being effortlessly chic and blatantly practical.
Presidential style opponent Anne Romney took another approach to get votes - localizing. Mrs. Romney wore a cap sleeve emerald green Oscar de la Renta frock which featured a tropical leafy print from the waist through the skirt - a perfect choice for the debate's Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL location. Lately, Romney has taken a liking to statement accessories, so of course she included a large strange of clear beads, gold bangles, and a thick gold watch to her ensemble.
So let's look over the style notes from all three debates.
First Debate: Both ladies went the monochrome route. First Lady Obama wore a royal blue Preen dress and jacket while Mrs. Romney went for a classic all-white dress and jacket accessorized with a string of pearls.

Second Debate: Both women showed up in pink dresses. Was it for breast cancer awareness month? Was it some mean girl fashion showdown? It's unclear but only one can be the prettiest in pink. We asked you who wore pink best in our preliminary poll. Perhaps the overall vote will be swayed?

Final Debate: Both Presidential fashionistas used their most clever style tactics. One thing they both have a thing for is nipped waists. The women looked absolutely lovely in their feminine dresses with flared out skirts.

Now that we have the nation's fashion choice, don't forget to make the bigger decision and vote on November 6.
