Taylor Swift, dubbed the "Heart Break Kid" by Rolling Stone magazine, is admitting that she does get joy out of her exes' pain. No one can quite get through a breakup like Swift - that is if #1 hits and multi-million dollar deals help heal a broken heart. Since her debut on the music scene the singer has been an open book about her love - lost and gained. Now, Swift is out for blood with her new album "Red," which features sharp cutting and truthful lyrics about her celebrity exes.

The 22-year-old says writing a song about the guy that broke your hear is "fun." In an interview with USA Today, Swift says her hit single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," was written to tick off a particular ex who belittled her music. The blonde starlet says the song is a "definitive portrait of how I felt when I finally stopped caring what my ex thought of me."

The hit single helped redeemed the country pop star. According to Swift, the ex (assumed by many to be Jake Gyllenhaal, 31) made her "feel like I wasn't as good or as relevant as these hipster bands he listened to."

"So I made a song that I knew would absolutely drive him crazy when he heard it on the radio. Not only would it hopefully be played a lot, so that he'd have to hear it, but it's the opposite of the kind of music that he was trying to make me feel inferior to."

So why would Swift want to torment her old flame through the airwaves? "Because that's fun," Swift confessed.

Another one of her popular revenge songs is "Dear John," which is presumably about her bad boy ex John Mayer, 35. Mayer may have gotten another dose of a "forget you" from Swift on her new album with the single "I Knew You were Trouble."

According to MTV, Swift will soon appear on VH1's "Storytellers" dishing about her "quirky" song writing process. In a behind-the-scenes clip of the episode Swift details some of her most invigorating song writing experiences.

"I'm excited about telling the beginnings of stories, like the story of this song called 'Ours,' where I wrote it about this guy nobody thought I should be with," Swift told VH1 News just before the taping. "So I wrote this song specifically just to play it for him, just to show him, 'I don't care what anyone says. I don't care that you have tattoos. I don't care that you have a gap between your teeth. I love you for who you are.' And that song ended up actually making it on a record [Speak Now] and becoming a #1 song. And then you take me being mad at my parents because they didn't want me to date this dude when I was 17, and I threw a fit and ran to my room and wrote a song on my bedroom floor called 'Love Story.' So that turned into something that I never expected to be our first #1 worldwide hit."

"Songs happen in really weird, strange, quirky ways, and to explore the start of them, where they were first brought into the world, where you first got that first little idea, it's wonderful to get to share that with a crowd of 3,000 people," Swift added.
