It's finally fall, so get your vamp gear ready. Designers predicted a dark and vampy makeup trend for the chilly season and Khloe Kardashian Odom is following the order. The stylish reality star uploaded a photo of her very fashionable fishtail braid and a dark berry pout. Even though she's in bright and sunny L.A., Odom is still in the brisk autumn spirit.
The dark lip trend has been making its comeback from the 90s. There's something just so sultry and mysterious about a woman with a wine pout. Halloween isn't the only time to try some dramatic makeup.

NARS Pure Matte Lipstick "Volga- aubergine" and Larger Than Life Lipstick "Penny Arcade - raspberry" are great lip picks. You can find them at Sephora.
A fear many may have regarding this trend is that they will look too gothic or dark. The way to maintain a dramatic look without too much of the Dracula effect is to make your lips the focal point. Use minimal or neutral makeup around the eyes and on your cheekbones, let you lips be the star. Odom executes the dark lip style perfectly with her subtle and earth-tone eye makeup.
Odom's side fishtail is romantic and sweet. The complexity of the braid makes it look so simple. The fishtail is a timeless and seasonless hairstyle, but the autumn atmosphere just makes the style look more elegant - especially when paired with dark makeup.

Odom has been sporting her vampy glam for the past week. She ditched her signature nude lip and bronzed dewy skin for something much more exciting. Her style change could be the result of her latest gig as the new host of "The X Factor." The youngest Kardashian sister is also getting major spotlight for her fashion choices lately. She could possibly replace big sister Kim as the most popular Kardashian.
Will you be trying out Odom's fall look?
