The highly anticipated Maison Martin Margiela collection for H&M hits stores in less than a month (November 15). The ads, revealing some of the pieces of the collection, recently hit the web just last week - but the fashion world wants to see more.
If you want to make your shopping plans before the expected-to-be-hectic launch date, you're in luck - H&M released the official look book of the whole collection.

Die-hard Margiela fans will not be disappointed. The collection will feature revamped iconic pieces from all of the 23 years of the luxury label. A wonderful touch to the limited edition is the tag attached to each garment indicating the season it was influenced from.
The 104-piece collection includes womenswear, menswear, footwear, and accessories. Just because Margiela is in a fast-fashion store doesn't mean it will skimp out on its impeccable detail and design. Just like the original label, Margiela's H&M collection will focus on shape, sharpness, volume, and ambiguity between feminine and masculine.
When the retailer initially broke the Maison Margiela Martin collaboration news, MMM fans and H&M shoppers alike were skeptical about how the two would actually pull it off. Margiela is vastly different from the mainstream fashion of the retail brand. "We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all," said the retailer in June when it announced the partnership.
Judging by the look book, the pair has successfully hit the mark creating pieces inspired by Margiela's minimalist aesthetic and H&M's sure-fire wearability. According to a press release, H&M intends to represent the most memorable pieces from the Margiela's archive at a budget -friendly price-point.
