The unstoppable entertainer will take the stage at the halftime show during Super Bowl XLVII on February 3, 2013 in New Orleans, according to the Associated Press. The 31-year-old sang the national anthem at the 2004 Super Bowl in her hometown of Houston, Texas.

Beyonce's latest performance was at her hubby Jay-Z's concert on October 6 at Brooklyn's new Barclay's Center; the duo performed two songs together, one in which Bey's sexy outfit made Hov forget his verse.

Last year's Super Bowl headliner was Madonna, who invited LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., and Cee-Lo Green on stage for her 12-minute performance. Madge performed before 114 million people in the stadium and at home. More people tuned in to watch her performance than the actual football game which was seen by an estimated 111.3 million viewers, according to the Nielsen Co.

Beyonce is a phenomenal performer on her own but who wouldn't enjoy a grand mini-concert featuring some collaborations? If queen Bey decides to perform some of her greatest duets, she'll most likely include Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, or her old Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Beyonce's official announcement is set to be made on Wednesday, October 17.
