Chris Brown and Rihanna are going on strong while Brown's rejected lover Karrueche Tran seems to be partying her tears away.

Tran has always been one to appear calm, cool, and collected amidst rough publicity. Throughout the whole year when clear and obvious signs of Brown's secret affair with his famous ex Rihanna surfaced, Tran remained unscathed. She tweeted messages like "I'm Ray Charles to the bullsh*t" and other nonchalant posts. After the messy and embarrassing breakup, in which Brown publicly dumped his girlfriend via a press release and a drunken video, the world expected the Vietnamese beauty to be devastated. While that may be true, like always Tran won't let you see her sweat.

Tran was photographed looking bright and cheerful while partying with her close friends on Sunday night - a day and a week after her former boyfriend was caught having a steamy makeout session with Rihanna. Tran partied at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood with her best friend Seiko and pal Justin.

"Tonight was fun :)," tweeted Tran.

Tran seems to be in good spirits and in good company. Her friend uploaded a photo of their night together captioned, "love and happiness."

Although Brown isn't her favorite person at the moment, Tran isn't completely avoiding him. The two attended singer Christina Milian and her boyfriend Jas Prince's gumbo party on Saturday - separately.

Brown retweeted the guest list, perhaps in effort to show that there are no hard feelings between him and Tran.

Tran uploaded a photo of herself (supposedly en route to the shindig) happily sporting the "duck face."

Tran is definitely getting over her superstar ex with the help of friends and possibly family.  Her uncle Hiep Tran is speaking out about her relationship with Brown and says that the family never expected them to last. "He's famous, he hit another girl...I didn't think it would last," Hiep tells Celebuzz. "She's strong and she moves on. She probably just realized it's not a good idea to be around a famous person and so many problems." 

Rihanna and Brown's family also spoke out about the love triangle. 

Hiep also stated that he isn't a fan of Brown and Rihanna's rekindled romance, calling it "bizarre." He isn't the only one who feels that way. Many fans are disappointed in Rihanna for going back to her boyfriend who brutally abused her in 2009.

Tran's uncle also revealed that his niece kept her romance with Brown a secret.

"She kept their relationship pretty private," Hiep said. "We didn't find out about it until people told us."

Rihanna and Brown are no longer a secret. After Rihanna professed her love for her ex and Brown requited the love, the couple has been out in the open.  The latest Chrianna photo to emerge is of the two sharing a bite to eat after Jay-Z's Barclays Center concert.
