Jay-Z concluded his eight-night concert for the opening of the Barclays Center with a major surprise on Saturday night (October 6). The hip hop icon has luxury to bring almost high-profile guest on stage, maybe even close pal President Barack Obama. Nevertheless, Jay-Z kept it all in the family and invited his wife, Beyonce Knowles, to rock out with him on stage.

No one would've expected Queen Bey to hit the stage after Jay-Z performed the couple's duet "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" alone. Fans were in frenzy once the 31-year-old wife and mommy-of-one strutted onto the stage to the tune of her 2008 hit "Diva." Beyonce wore a sexy pair of black leather short shorts, thigh-high boots, a leather long sleeve shirt, a Brooklyn Nets fitted cap, and sunglasses. Her outfit was similar to the scandalous Brooklynettes cheerleading outfits.
Beyonce performed a hardcore rendition of "Diva," taking a page from her husband's Brooklyn-swag book. Her vocals were strong and gritty as she popped and locked sassy dance moves.
After wishing her best friend Gwyneth Paltrow a happy birthday, Beyonce continued her performance with another fan favorite -her debut solo single "Crazy in Love."
Beyonce's stage presence left everyone stunned, even Jay-Z who went backstage during his wife's "Diva" set. The rapper was so amazed by his wife's performance that he missed his "Crazy in Love" cue. Beyonce expected her man to be on stage for his verse when she cued him "Come on baby!" When Jay-Z still didn't arrive on stage, Beyonce kept the show going rapping "In the ROC uh oh! One and only." Jay-Z quickly came back on stage continuing from his wife's rapping.
The rapper later admitted that he was so mesmerized by his wife's performance from the monitors backstage that he forgot to go on stage to spit his verse, according to MTV. "Oh sh*t - I should probably rap here," Jay-Z said of his realization.
The couple rocked the stage dancing seductively with each other and giving each other lovey dovey glances. Right before Beyonce left the stage Jay-Z playfully slapped her bum, making the fans go wild. "Of course I had to let BK touch the stage in BK - well BKC now" he jokingly said.
Beyonce returned to the stage for Jay-Z's closing set "Young Forever." She wore a skin tight black leather outfit including leather pantsand a fitted motorcycle jacket. The power couple ended their performance with a kiss and hug - something they rarely do in public - and the crowd cheered with excitement.
