Los Angeles-based brand, Stampd has released a corner-store inspired purse called the Bodega Bag (photo above).The kitschy bag is modeled with a 40oz (what other item would you really carry in a bodega bag?). This luxurious leather paper bag is made from American cowhide and is available in both medium and small. No matter if you use this bag for lunch or just your day-to-day belongings, your possessions will be contained in a soft suede interior. The Bodega Bag comes in limited supply, with 50 pieces for each size. They were released on Wednesday (October 3) so get them while you still can.

Stampd isn't the only brand upgrading the traditional lunch bag, Jil Sander has also designed a swanky paper bag called the Vasari purse. The unassuming lavish accessory sells for $290. Jil Sander offers more detailed craftsmanship with stitched seams, four metal eyelets, and the designer logo. The Vasari purse is made from high durability coated paper. W magazine raved about the couture lunch bag saying, "Forget recycling - this bag is a keeper."

Maison Martin Margiela also gave the grocery bag a makeover. The leather paper bag is bigger than the previous two and has handles. It is also the most expensive, costing a whopping $763.00.
