Just months ago, Dakota Rose, Venus Angelic and Valeria Lukyanova rose to fame by wearing dresses and makeups that transformed them into real-life Barbie dolls.
Shpagina is from Odessa, the same town where the real-life Barbie doll Valeria Lukyanova resides. A turn of fate brought the two together as friends, posing for photos to create a hyper surreal and undeniably creepy shots.

The real-life anime girl weighs around 85 pounds at 5'2", according to the Daily Mail, and goes by the Japanese anime name "Fukkacumi."
19-year-old Anastasiya Shpagina spends hours every day putting on makeup. Her enlarged doe eyes take 30 minutes each. She is even considering plastic surgery to resemble anime characters even dmore closely.
Even since her childhood, Shpagina has been obsessed about makeup, which she then began to use to transform herself into anime characters. To look more authentic, she began to lose weight, according to Odditycentral.
Even though many people on the streets of Odessa are freaked out by the sight of a real-life anime girl, Shpagina loves to meet Japanese tourists, said Odditycentral.
"The young hairdresser says their eyes become as large as Europeans when they see how close her face resembles that of an anime character," the site reports.
"Some of them try to talk to her, but they don’t speak Russian and she doesn’t understand Japanese."
“I am not like a doll, a doll is like me …” the real-life cartoon character prides her identity on her VKontakte profile page.
