Singer Christina Aguilera says that after earning a top position in the music industry, she now has the luxury of taking risks with her music.

Christina Aguilera had left her singer days behind for sometime as she took up the role of a mentor and judge in popular reality show The Voice. However, the talented singer has now returned to her singing with her highly anticipated single "Your Body".

While fans wait patiently for the full music video to be out, Aguilera teases her them with releasing sneak peeks of what t expect from the new single. Last week, Aguilera released the first teaser and now there's a second one.

Christina Aguilera says that because of her hard work, she's earned herself a top position in the music industry and this gives her the luxury to experiment and take risks with her music now.

"I've already put out a greatest hits record, so I've been in this business for a while, and I'm a risk-taker, that's just who I am at heart," quoted her as saying.

"The 31-year-old, who has given some popular hits like "What a girl wants", "Genie in a bottle" and "Come on over baby" feels there might be times when people don't connect to her music, but this does not bother her.

"It's who I can't help but be. It's who I always am in nature, as a person and as an artist," Aguilera said.

"With that comes hurdles and certain areas where people aren't going to get it and understand it artistically. Sometimes it will go over their heads and it will not be as commercially successful," she added.

The superstar gave her fans a tiny taste of what's in store for them by releasing a music video teaser of her upcoming new single "Your Body."

"I got to keep things a little exciting, enticing, fun, and got to get you guessing," Aguilera told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show. "It's very tongue-in-cheek, very playful, it's very fun. It's kind of comedic in a way."

"Lotus" is Aguilera's first album since the 2010 flop "Bionic," which sold only 110,000 copies, according to Pop Eater. " In a Twitter Q&A, Aguilera promised fans a "rebirth" with the release of the new album.

"It represents an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives," said the pop songstress. "Self-expression and freedom [are album themes]."
