If you need something to smile about today, Elmo has got you covered!

The red furry monster showed off his more fashionable side in a video starring his wardrobe closet and Harper's Bazaar editor Laura Brown.

Brown explains to Elmo what fashion is and how industry folks must say French phrases from time to time to keep their jobs. One jargon Elmo particularly liked was "fashionista;" but because he's a monster he called himself a "monsternista."

The adorable video goes on to show all of Elmo's most iconic outfits and shoes. Brown drops some knowledge on the orange-nosed puppet when she compares each look to a fashion label. His tiny western getup was compared to Ralph Lauren and his elaborately tailored suit was compared to Viktor & Rolf.

The special video is the latest webisode of Brown's YouTube series, "The Look." In the show, the fashion editor interviews some of the biggest names in the biz - so of course Elmo, the "global fashion icon," had to be featured too.
