Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may have reconciled, but the Twilight couple is actually up to the reunion only for a month as a trial, according to a new report.

Pattinson and Stewart reportedly met together with "Twilight" representatives to discuss the status of their off-screen romance, an insider told Grazia.

"It seems Robert was quite stand-offish at first, but when she started crying, he apparently crumbled," the source said.

"He said he couldn't bear to see her so upset and realized how much he had missed her. Kristen says she's made a terrible mistake and it will never happen again."

Well, probably anyone can say that if she's desperate to get back her beau as well as public reputation. The question is, can Kristen Stewart's flirty nature really change?

"Apparently, she told Robert she would do anything to make it work, and will cut back on her work schedule and spend more time in London so they can be together," the insider continued.

"Robert has had a lot of time to reflect on what happened and, while he has also come to realize just how important Kristen is to him."

"He has warned Kristen that he might never be able to forgive and forget. But he's agreed to give it a month to see if they can make it work. If they can't, he says he will walk away."

"Kristen hasn't stayed over at Robert's new place yet. They have seen each other most days since their initial meeting, but they are taking baby steps. He has also requested that they don't talk about Rupert or what happened."

"She has nobody to talk to because Robert has made it clear the topic is off-limits."

The latest report seems to contradict with the previous rumour, which indicated that the 26-year-old actor gave the 22-year-old starlet only two options - to marry or to break up.

"Rob told Kristen the only way he can forgive her affair is if she truly commits to him. Rob has been keen to marry Kristen for quite a while and he doesn't want to get back with her unless he knows she means it for life too," a source told UK’s Daily Star.
"He is desperate to make it work and wants to give her another chance but not unless she proves she really wants it too.”

"They have both talked openly about marriage before and she's been telling him for years that she doesn't want to rush into anything,' the insider said. 

"But Kristen will do anything to get back with Rob now and one of the conditions is to discuss getting married and the future. Rob is very romantic and traditional."

While the tabloids are noisy with Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart reconciliation buzz, can there be a completely different scenario?

Will Twilight fans be able to see the duo, once praised as one of Hollywood's sexiest couples, rekindle their off-screen romance?
Or will Pattinson and fans all be left heartbroken and disappointed at Stewart?
