Kate Moss and George Michael will appear together in the October issue of Vogue UK Magazine. While Moss has covered Vogue on more than 30 occasions, this will be Michael's first Vogue cover.

Kate Moss has practically been born with Vogue. The supermodel has graced the cover of the magazine on more than 38 occasions. However, this time she does it with a twist. This time round, Moss will grace the magazine cover with singer George Michael. This is Michael's first appearance on the cover of the magazine.

Many are still trying to figure out the reason behind the pairing.  Well, it makes sense. The two both performed at this year's 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony, with Michael performing "Freedom '90" and Moss strutting out for the supermodel stunt. Moss even guest-starred in Michael's new music video "White Light" this summer. Now, they've reunited in the most on-the-record way possible: a glamorous photograph on the cover of one of the world's most-read fashion magazines.

The photo apes a red carpet shot, with Kate clad in a gorgeous Elie Saab-looking red gown as the pair beam against a bright camera flash beckoning from Mario Testino's lens. Moss plays George Michael's 'savior' in his new music video.

The British supermodel has a cameo role in the film which accompanies his forthcoming single 'White Light' - which the 'Careless Whisper' star wrote following his battle with pneumonia last year - and the singer has teased details of her appearance in the clip.

Michael tweeted: "By the way, in the video, a certain supermodel (our Kate) saves my life. We shot two endings, one with the heimlich menouvre...and one where she gives me full on CPR. Mouth to mouth. "Not really:} But honestly, she is my savior, on film at least! (sic)"

Meanwhile, Michael has also revealed his favorite lyric from the new song after asking fans if they could guess what they thought it was.

He retweeted one fan who wrote "was it science that saved me? Or the way that you prayed for me? .." and then replied to her "Bingo!"

And though the track is currently number one on online retailer Amazon's singles chart - based on pre-orders - Michael, 49, has appealed to fans to bombard radio stations with requests for the song to be played.

He wrote: "Every radio request from you guys is much appreciated, remember I'm twice the age of your average pop star these days!! So keep on calling those requests in....Help the Aged :)) (sic)"
