One Direction released the music video of "Live While We're Young," the lead single in their sophomore album "Take Me Home."

British boy band One Direction's "Live While We're Young" video was unveiled ahead of its scheduled release on October 1, due to an unofficial track leaked online Thursday.
Instead of leaving their fans with the lo-fi version of the video, 1D decided to give a full treat to the camp-themed video.

"We wanted our fans to see the video and hear the single in the proper way so we've moved the premiere to tonight," One Direction said in a statement.
"We're really excited about 'Live While We're Young.' We've worked really hard on it, and we can't wait for everyone to see and hear it later today!"

The music video has garnered nearly 3 million views in one single day.

"Live While We're Young" was written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, who also worked on their hits "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing."
