Amanda Bynes has made headlines for being charged with a DUI and two counts of hit-and-run, but the 26-year-old actress is full of hope, currently planning to design a fashion line of her own.

Despite the negative buzz leaving the world wondering what she is up to, Amanda Bynes is happy and hopeful.

"I am doing amazing," Amanda Bynes told People Wednesday.

"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line," Bynes said.

"I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."

The troubled actress was polite, respectful and upbeat on the phone, People reported.

People around the former Nickelodeon star are worried about her bizarre behaviors.

"People around Amanda are really concerned about her," a source, who has spent time with Bynes in recent months, told People.

"She tells people she doesn't party or drink. She doesn't realize she has a problem."

A Los Angeles judge denied a $50,000 bail request from prosecutors for Bynes’ DUI arrest, People says.

If she breaks any road rules in the future, she will face a high bail.

The biggest problem for Amanda Bynes seems to be the fact that she doesn’t know how serious her problems are. And because of that, it is very likely for her to keep doing what she’s been doing.

We just hope that she won’t dare to drive in New York City. After all, her driver’s license has been suspended.
