Amanda Bynes has been a hot topic all week long; however, Bynes is unaware of the drama. In fact, according to the star, she doesn't even drink or drive. So what in the world have we been talking about all this time? While friends and neighbors reveal sad details of the star's recent downward spiral, Bynes is busy developing a fashion line.

The 26-year-old actress finally broke her silence in a phone interview with People magazine on Wednesday. When asked about her recent erratic behavior, Bynes responded: "I am doing amazing."

Bynes, who hasn't been in a film since 2010's "Easy A," has been making headlines after numerous DUI charges, hit-and-run incidents, and getting caught smoking from a "drug pipe" in her car. Neighbors and sources claimed to have witnessed the actress talking to inanimate objects and laughing to herself for no reason.

"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line," Bynes continued in her interview. The magazine reports that the brunette star was very "polite, respectful, and upbeat."

Bynes then dismissed the DUI situation saying, "I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false." 

The star, who is usually spotted alone without the company of any friends or family, has many worried and concerned about her. "People around Amanda are really concerned about her," a source tells People. "She tells people she doesn't party or drink. She doesn't realize she has a problem." 

Bynes' father also denies that she has a problem. "She was not drunk," Rick Bynes told People. "I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn't have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn't drink." However, according to TMZ, Bynes' parents have relocated from Texas to Los Angeles to be near their daughter.
