Red is definitely Beyonce's color! Tuesday night (September 18), the hostess of President Barack Obama's fundraising dinner stunned guests in a beautiful body hugging red dress.  The gorgeous songbird looked classic. She wore her blond tresses in a side swoop of full curls and sported a dark red lip.

Beyonce introduced President Obama to the 100 guests saying, "I can't tell you how proud we are to host tonight's event with President Obama ... we believe in his vision."

The intimate dinner, which benefits Obama's reelection campaign, raised over $4 million dollars - not too surprising since dinner guests paid $40,000 a plate.

Beyonce hosted alongside her hubby Jay-Z at his New York City club 40/40. The couple has constantly faced criticism for not doing enough for the community but this time, they make a grand effort.  The power couple spoke with the president and Beyonce smiled with glee.

Because of the bank breaking cost of entry, some supporters could not attend the swanky dinner. In effort to include all supporters, Beyonce sent a mass email from the Obama Campaign last week, offering a chance to attend the fundraiser with a donation of just $5 to the campaign by midnight.

Supporters who attended took pictures with the beautiful songstress.

Just like Beyonce praised First Lady Michelle Obama, who was absent, President Obama applauded the singer for her positive image and for being a role model to his daughters. He also joked about relating his life to Jay-Z's.

"Beyoncé couldn't be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent. And Jay-Z now knows what my life is like. (Laughter.) We both have daughters, and our wives are more popular than we are. So we've got a little bond there. It's hard, but it's okay."

The president's West Coast DJ, DJ Adam 12, also praised the power couple for being such great supporters and raising money for the campaign.

"I think it sends an important message for Jay-Z and Beyoncé to throw this fundraiser ... that it's important for people that support the president to actually support the president. I know that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had gotten some flak recently for not supporting their community. I think this just goes to show that they do support their community. I think that people should put their money where their mouth is. DJs across the country, artists across the country, no matter what kind of artists they are, it's one thing to support it and just talk about it, but it's another thing to actually go out there and do something."
