“Gangnam Style” rapper Psy has even fascinated CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who tweeted his obsession with the over-night sensation.
In response to a fan’s tweet asking him, “have you heard Gangnam Style by PSY? So GOOD!!!” Anderson Cooper posted, “I've been obsessed with it for about two weeks!”
Just two weeks?
The viral Youtube video of Psy’s horse-riding dance has garnered over 200,000,000 views in the past two months, and has led to creations of numerous parodies.
The 34-year-old rapper also brought “Gangnam Style” to NBC’s Saturday Night Live’s season premiere, not only dancing but also matching outfits with Bobby Moynihan and Seth MacFarlane.
Monday afternoon, Psy appeared during an “Extra” interview and was greeted by a crowd of horse-riding dancers at The Grove, a popular L.A. shopping and celebrity hot spot.
In response to the tweet, fans were eager to know whether the CNN anchor of “Anderson Cooper 360” also learned the hilarious “Gangnam Style” moves.
“knowing you also love PSY makes me feel okay about having 'gangnam style' stuck in my head. do you do the dance, too!??!” bea hdez tweeted.
“Have you learned the dance? We'd love to see!” Universal Republic said.
Perhaps Anderson Cooper will get a surprise visit from the Korean mega-hit star one day - just like Britney Spears whose tweet about “Gangnam Style” stirred Ellen Degeneres to bring none other than Psy himself to coach the addictive dance moves.
