Kanye West has reportedly spent $1 million on preparations for girlfriend Kim Kardashian's birthday to give her the best birthday ever.

Kim Kardashian turns 32 on October 21 and that's not something to celebrate according to the socialite and TV star. So, to keep her from fretting over getting old, boyfriend Kanye West has reportedly spent approximately $1 million on preparations for Kardashian's birthday. West hopes to give the 31 year old her best birthday ever.

"Kim has been really down about turning 32 and having two failed marriages behind her and no children, so he wants to make this extra-special," thesun.co.uk quoted a source saying.

"Kanye has never been shy of splashing out on the women he loves, but this time he's pulling out all the stops with presents. Plus it's her first birthday since they've been together as a couple," the source added.

According to The Sun, it has been reported that Kanye will whisk Kim to a private island in the Turks and Caicos where a chef will "cook for them privately every night"

Kardashian, however, has more on her mind than just birthday celebrations.  She has, on various occasions expressed her desire to have children and yesterday  she introduced millions of Twitter followers to her new kitten Mercy, when she tweeted a series of adorable photos of the Teacup Persian on Sunday. Of course, the camera loving reality star has already posted more photos of the kitten Monday morning.

Mercy Kardashian (or West) has already become an internet sensation. It wouldn't be too much of a shock if the snow white feline opened its own Twitter account.

The name of Kardashian's new pet is homage to her beau's hit single, "Mercy."  The word "mercy" has been quite important between the celebrity couple. Over the summer, West tweeted a photo of his Lamborghini with his girlfriend's famous round rump in the near distance captioned, "Mercy."
