“Gangnam Style” rapper Psy has become ubiquitous.
The Korean star brought his addictive horse-riding dance to NBC’s Saturday Night Live’s season premiere, rocking and riding “Gangnam Style” to cheer up some depressed workers in a "Lids" store at the mall, portrayed by the show’s host Seth MacFarlane, Kenan Thompson and Jason Sudeikis.
Bobby Moynihan was dressed in a bright blue suit jacket and donned sunglasses, in imitation of Psy in “Gangnam Style” music video. Seth MacFarlane wore a hilarious wig, and was dressed in a bright yellow suit.

"I just finished SNL. It's really overwhelming. Every day is so unrealistic," Psy posted on his Me2Day on Sunday, according to KpopStarz.
"with a different me and grasshopper hyung,” Psy said, along with a photo of the trio posing.
Psy was just seen dancing on the Today Show on Friday, after coaching Britney Spears and Ellen Degeneres on her afternoon show “Ellen” last weekend.
It was just last week when Ryan Seacrest in his “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” extracted some of the unknown factors in Psy’s life.
On his overnight breakout, Psy said, “I’m walking down the street like: ‘Why I’m here? Why I’m here?’ I’ve done this 12 years in Korea and I’m rookie here now."
“I was at Berklee College of Music in Boston, but I’ve been a freshman for 4 years,” Psy told Seacrest.
“Class was too early for me.”
The global sensation is actually a father of twins!
“I have twins,” Psy said.
“They are born October 1st, so they are 4-years. 2007 October 1st. So, they are 4-years old in United States and they are 6-years old in Korea.” So, do the kids know that their dad is a huge star? “They know the word concert. So, they know father’s job is concert. They prefer concert than father.”
On the fashion side of “Gangnam Style,” Psy described it with his signature statement.
“Especially for ‘Gangnam Style’ I try to dress as classy and dance cheesy. I want that kind of twist and that kind of contrast,” Psy said, explaining the reasoning behind.
“In Korea, July is really hot and economics not good. So, as a 12-year-old entertainer my only job was to make people laugh.”
Behind the crazy dance is a somewhat more noble background, rooted in certain facts of Korea’s geography and culture.
“Gangnam is a certain territory in Korea, the spot is noble in daytime and going crazy at nighttime. So, I just described about a lady and gentleman who’s noble at daytime and going crazy at nighttime. PSY explains. You may have noticed that the only recognizable English lyrics in the song are “sexy lady.” So, why did PSY choose to use a little bit of English? “Because I cannot find any other words…sexy lady is sexy lady,” Psy explained.
The music video of the now famous “Gangnam Style” dance has garnered over 188,000,000 views to date.
In the video, Psy plays a pathetic man daydreaming about his ideal girlfriend, who knows how to present herself properly in the day, and also how to have fun at night. The funky horse riding dance is seen in all kinds of venues you can imagine in everyday life – from playground to subway, from the top of the skyscraper to a boat on a river.
Especially in the U.S., many fans find it entertaining, and Gangnam Style has almost become a sort of addiction.
"The response in the U.S. is unbelievable. I have to admit, I must have watched it about 15 times," said CNN reporter Shanon Cook.
The overwhelming reaction to Gangnam Style comes as a surprise to the K-Pop sphere, as well as Psy, also known as Park Jae-sang.
"I was trying to go with the current trend in the music industry. I wanted to make people laugh more. I thought, right now, people want to laugh more. I prepared this hoping to portray the most pathetic of pathetic with this music video," he said.
