While other designers usually open or close their shows with a famous supermodel, Vivienne Westwood outshines her walking mannequins by closing her own fashion show.
Sunday, during her London Fashion Week show, Westwood wowed the crowd when she walked the catwalk wearing her own creations from her spring 2013 collection. The 71-year-old designer walked down the runway donning a T-shirt printed "Climate Revolution," short shorts, a crazy hat, and a drawn on mustache.

The theme of her show: a fight against climate change.
The punk designer dedicated her highly anticipated show to her favorite cause. Before Westwood strutted down the runway, two models opened out a banner proclaiming a climate revolution.
The fiery redhead received massive applause for her surprise catwalk and kooky and fabulous collection. Models donned a colorful full face of paint and wore vintage inspired pieces. The collection was reminiscent of the iconic classic style of Jackie O but was mixed with a hint of artsy hipster.
"I loved it," former model Jo Wood told the Washington Post. "There was so much there that I wanted. And I love Vivienne as a person. She's the one show I won't miss. She always does what she believes in, and we should all be organic."
Westwood's show was one of Sunday's highlights on Day Three of London Fashion Week. British Fashion Council Chief Harold Tillman, believes that the summer Olympic in London left Britain in good spirits. "The crowds are beyond expectations and the shows have been very professional and very fresh," said Tillman. "People are feeling very good."
