Lady Gaga finally launched her highly anticipated first fragrance, "Fame," but not before giving the world wild and outrageous theatrics.

Being that this is one of her most "artistic" projects, Gaga had to deliver her new perfume in one spectacular performance. In the lead up to her launch, Gaga "incubated" in a transparent black and gold egg shaped capsule in front of friends and fans. Famous pals like Marc Jacobs, Lindsay Lohan, and Yoko Ono watched mother monster slumber in what looked like her perfume bottle at a party at the Guggenheim in New York City. During the presentation, Gaga bared her naked bottom, which was projected on a huge screen for the audience.  Other antics of the night included the eccentric entertainer shaving and tattooing her head and supposedly peeing in a champagne bucket.

On her launch day, Gaga arrived at Macy's Herald Square in a horse-drawn "Fame" perfume bottle shaped carriage wearing a massive gold mask, black latex body armor, and sky high black platform heels with gold little men attached to it (a reference to the notorious nude "Fame" ad).

Gaga's fragrance is the first-ever black liquid perfume that sprays on clear. What was once planned to smell like "blood and semen" is now scented with "tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops," according to the bottle's description. "I wanted it to be a very slutty perfume," said on Good Morning America on Friday. "Because that is sort of the addictive nature of fame that it is, it is seductive." The fragrance is now available at Macy's at prices ranging from $15 - $79.
