Votes aren't too hard to come by when you have music's hottest couple on your team.

Megastars Beyoncé and Jay-Z are onboard to host a fundraiser for President Barack Obama in New York City on September 18. The Obama campaign emailed their mailing list a message from Beyoncé on Thursday morning.

The note, supposedly written by the celebrity, read:

"I usually don't email you -- but I have an amazing invitation I have to share.

Jay and I will be meeting up with President Obama for an evening in NYC sometime soon. And we want you to be there!

Until midnight tonight, if you pitch in $5 or whatever you can, you'll be automatically entered to be flown out to join us.

I've had the honor of meeting President Obama and the First Lady a few times -- and believe me -- it's an opportunity you don't want to miss.

Don't worry about the airfare and hotel, it's taken care of. And you can bring a guest.

But the countdown is on -- this opportunity ends at midnight.

Can't wait to meet you!

Love,

Beyoncé "

The event will be held at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club and unless you're that lucky winner joining the President and his famous friends, the ticket to get in will set you back $40,000. Music's royal couple is "committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure that President Obama is re-elected so he can keep moving our country forward," they said in a joint statement provided by the Obama campaign. According to Page Six, the fundraising event will be "intimate and capped at 100 guests."

Beyoncé has always been an avid supporter of the President. The award-winning entertainer famously performed at the President's Inauguration Ball in January 2009, singing "At Last." Furthermore, Beyoncé has endlessly expressed her admiration for First Lady Michelle Obama. Back in April on her blog, the singer posted a handwritten appreciation letter for the First Lady, praising her for being "the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman." She even made a music video in support of First Lady Obama's "Move Your Body" initiative - an effort to keep kids healthy and in shape.
