Can Justin Bieber rock on the ice? An ice hockey team apparently thinks so.
The Canadian pop singer has been offered a spot in a minor league team in the National Hockey League for their 2012-2013 hockey season.
Tuesday, the Bakersfield Condors of the East Coast Hockey League revealed their offer of an amateur tryout contract to Justin Bieber.
When the 18-year-old star played for the Toronto Maple Leafs last year, he revealed some talents.
Bieber "looks like he’s a decent skater. He’s got good hands. He handles the puck well," Matt O'Dette, Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations commented.

“He’s a Canadian kid, he grew up playing hockey,” O’Dette told The New York Daily News.
“He’s no stranger to being on the ice. And in that video he looks like he’s a decent skater. He’s got good hands. He handles the puck well.”
"Very rarely do you see this combination of skill and toughness," O'Dette told E! News.
"We share a common Canadian heritage since we both hail from Ontario."
"I think he could provide some elusive speed up front for us. Plus, he's a right-handed shot, which we've been looking to add. I think if we paired him on a line with [Robby] Dee and [Peter] Boyd we'd be tough to beat," O'Dette said.
Bieber has not yet responded to the offer.
